[Remote] Sr. Momentum Financials Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tucker-Reeves Associates is seeking multiple Senior Momentum Financials Consultants to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on the FMBT program, a high-impact federal modernization initiative. The role involves transforming how the VA manages budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting, working alongside CGI Federal and senior government stakeholders to drive requirements and ensure successful implementation of Momentum Financials.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze current-state business processes and support future-state designGather, document, and validate functional requirementsSupport system configuration and ensure alignment with business needsAssist with data validation, migration, and system integrationsEnsure compliance with federal financial standards (USSGL, Treasury reporting)Develop test scenarios, execute functional testing, and validate system outputsSupport Agile delivery (stand-ups, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, PI planning)Create documentation, training materials, and user guidesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including technical, functional, and program leadershipSkillsBachelor's degree (Business, Finance, IT, or related field preferred)3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting system implementations3+ years of experience with federal financial systems (Momentum preferred)Experience with Momentum Budget module and/or integrations (collections, deposits)Strong understanding of federal accounting (USSGL, budget execution, reporting)Experience working in an Agile environment (SAFe preferred)Experience with Jira and ConfluenceStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsMUST HAVE MOMENTUM FINANCIALS ERP EXPERIENCEPrior experience supporting VA or other federal agenciesExperience with data migration and financial system testingExposure to Power Platform, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar toolsExperience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects)Consulting background supporting federal clientsPMP, CBAP, or similar certificationsCompany OverviewAt Tucker-Reeves Associates, LLC (TRA), we pride ourselves on being a results-driven technology partner with a clear mission: to deliver powerful, scalable, and innovative IT solutions that directly advance our customers' goals.
