The Senior Manager, White Space Design will lead the design of white space infrastructure across CoreWeave’s data center portfolio, ensuring scalability and operational success through comprehensive technical reviews and collaboration with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesLead the design of white space infrastructure and fit-out across CoreWeave’s expanding data center portfolioOwn the development and administration of the White Space Basis of Design while performing comprehensive technical reviews of infrastructure layouts, power distribution, and cooling configurationsAct as both a hands-on technical expert and a manager of internal and external design resources, including third-party consultantsCollaborate daily with cross-functional construction and operations teams to ensure all designs are scalable, constructable, and seamlessly handed off for deploymentPerform deep-dive technical reviews of infrastructure layouts, high-density cooling configurations, power distribution strategies, and low-voltage pathways to proactively eliminate gaps in coordination and constructabilityBalance direct design production and engineering work with the management and mentorship of internal design engineers and external engineering consultantsDrive daily cross-functional alignment with Construction, Operations, Network Engineering, and Commissioning teams to guarantee that all white space designs are scalable, operationally sound, and seamlessly transitioned from concept through construction handoffSkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience15+ years of experience in data center design, mission-critical infrastructure engineering, or white space design leadershipDirect experience with data center white space infrastructure systems, including PDUs, RPPs, busways, branch circuits, hot aisle containment systems, remote CDUs, fan walls, and high-density cooling strategiesExperience working as a consulting engineer, design consultant, or owner's representative overseeing third-party design consultantsDocumented knowledge of low voltage infrastructure systems, including structured cabling, ladder rack, cable tray systems, overhead conveyance, and network pathway coordinationExperience reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and design change documentationHands-on proficiency with engineering and project management tools, specifically AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Asana, Smartsheets, or equivalent platformsCompliance and working knowledge of data center design standards and industry guidelines, including TIA-942, BICSI, ASHRAE, NFPA, and Uptime InstituteProfessional Engineer (PE), Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience supporting hyperscale, High-Performance Computing (HPC), or high-density compute environmentsPractical familiarity with capacity planning, scalability modeling, and design standardizationBenefitsDiscretionary bonusEquity awardsComprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility)Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 100% paid for by CoreWeaveCompany-paid Life InsuranceVoluntary supplemental life insuranceShort and long-term disability insuranceFlexible Spending AccountHealth Savings AccountTuition ReimbursementAbility to Participate in Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)Mental Wellness Benefits through Spring HealthFamily-Forming support provided by CarrotPaid Parental LeaveFlexible, full-service childcare support with Kinside401(k) with a generous employer matchFlexible PTOCatered lunch each day in our office and data center locationsA casual work environmentA work culture focused on innovative disruptionCompany OverviewCoreWeave provides cloud infrastructure services designed to support artificial intelligence and high-performance computing workloads.
