This role entails product ownership of the AI Control Tower backlog, leading stakeholder engagement, and ensuring effective management of high-priority work while driving team leadership and product governance processes.ResponsibilitiesOwn the product backlog for the AI Control Tower and ensure it reflects the highest-value business and technical prioritiesLead the intake pipeline for control tower requests and ensure work is evaluated, prioritized, and governed appropriatelyDefine and maintain product management processes for backlog health, prioritization, governance, and stakeholder alignmentPartner with business, technical, and functional stakeholders to gather needs, clarify requirements, and sequence work effectivelyEstablish clear criteria for prioritization based on business value, strategic alignment, urgency, technical feasibility, and resource considerationsDrive product governance forums and operating cadences to support transparent decision-making and timely issue resolutionEnsure visibility to backlog status, product decisions, pipeline health, and execution risksLead cross-functional alignment on scope, dependencies, tradeoffs, and release prioritiesIdentify opportunities to improve product flow, backlog quality, and overall control tower effectivenessPartner with engineering, operations, and business teams to support execution of prioritized workUse data, stakeholder feedback, and operational insights to continuously improve the product and its supporting processesApply lean and FLIGHT DECK principles to standardize team operating mechanisms and improve executionLead and develop a team supporting product intake, backlog management, prioritization, governance, and delivery coordinationSet clear goals, responsibilities, and expectations for the teamCoach team members on product management discipline, stakeholder engagement, and execution rigorBuild a strong team culture centered on accountability, responsiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvementEnsure effective workload balancing, prioritization, and development opportunities across the teamDrive talent development, performance management, and ongoing capability buildingFoster a customer-focused and outcome-driven approach across the teamSkillsBachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 6 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 9 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 11 years of professional experienceMinimum 3 years of professional experience in technical product management, product ownership, program management, or portfolio leadershipExperience leading product backlog management, intake, prioritization, and governance processesExperience working across business and technical stakeholders to translate needs into structured product plans and prioritiesLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
