This role involves people leadership, delivery oversight, and collaboration across functions to ensure projects meet customer expectations and align with PMO standards.ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, including performance management, career development, and day-to-day guidanceBuild a team culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and customer-focused executionIdentify skill gaps and support professional growth in alignment with PMO competency expectationsModel strong delivery leadership and prepare your team to engage confidently with customers and internal stakeholdersOwn delivery outcomes across your teamβs portfolio of customer engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetProvide active oversight on complex and at-risk projects, helping PMs navigate escalations, resolve blockers, and maintain customer confidenceEnsure your team is consistently applying PMO delivery standards, governance practices, and reporting requirementsLeverage portfolio health data and project metrics to monitor team performance, surface risks early, and keep leadership informedPartner with Delivery, Customer Success, Product, Technology and Operations leaders to align on priorities, resource needs, and execution sequencing across the customer lifecycleServe as an escalation point for your team and a reliable partner for internal stakeholders on delivery-related issuesContribute to resource planning and capacity management activities to optimize team utilization and support delivery commitmentsEnsure your team follows established PMO standards, tools, and reporting cadences with consistency and qualityIdentify patterns across your portfolio and surface process or tooling feedback to PMO leadership for continuous improvementSupport onboarding of new PMs and reinforce delivery standards across the teamSkills8+ years of project/program management experience with demonstrated success leading complex customer-facing initiatives4+ years of people leadership experience, including managing global and/or distributed teamsStrong working knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and their practical application in enterprise delivery environmentsAbility to manage and prioritize across a portfolio of concurrent projects while staying close enough to the work to coach and intervene when neededStrong business acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple functions and leadership levelsExcellent communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, drive change, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environmentProficiency with project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, and related systemsExperience in healthcare technology, SaaS implementations, or professional services organizationsPMP, Prince2, or equivalent certificationCompany OverviewHealthEdge Software offers benefits administration and care management software solutions.
