Spinwheel is on a mission to reinvent how consumers manage credit and is seeking a Senior Manager of People Operations to build out their People foundation. This role will focus on scaling the People function, designing performance management systems, and aligning talent strategies with business goals.ResponsibilitiesBuild and scale Spinwheel’s People function across Onboarding, Performance Management, and Employee experienceDesign and implement structured systems for hiring, performance reviews, and career development to support a high-growth organizationPartner closely with leadership (Finance, GTM, Product, and Engineering) to align hiring plans, org design, and talent strategy with business goalsEstablish a consistent performance management framework including expectations, feedback cycles, and review processesDrive clarity across leveling, compensation, and promotion frameworks to ensure fairness, transparency, and scalabilityEnable managers to effectively lead teams, deliver feedback, and manage performance and developmentOwn People infrastructure (systems, processes, policies) and ensure compliance across the US, Canada, and other countriesSkills6 - 10 years of progressive People Operations experience at high growth startup environmentsProven ability to operate as a builder; creating structures in ambiguous and fast-moving environmentsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to support others through complex situationsSystems thinker with experience implementing ATS, HRIS, Payroll, Comp, or other toolsData-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomesHigh ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to balance empathy with business needsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organizationExperience working with a distributed workforce (mainly US & Canada) strongly preferredCompany OverviewTransform how your business and your customers see, understand, and act on debt with our industry-leading debt APIs and drop-in modules.
