[Remote] Sr Manager, Global Accounts Payable

The Senior Manager, Global Accounts Payable will oversee the organization’s accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and compliant processing of invoices and payments while leading a global team. This role involves optimizing processes and collaborating with various finance teams to enhance operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the strategic vision for the global Accounts Payable function, aligning operations with financial and organizational goalsLead and manage a global AP team of 30+ professionals across multiple regionsOversee end-to-end accounts payable operations including invoice processing, payment approvals, vendor reconciliations, and month-end close activitiesOptimize AP processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and complianceDrive automation, system enhancements, and workflow improvements across AP operationsBuild strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate paymentsReview and approve complex or high-value payments and resolve escalated vendor queriesEnsure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements related to AP processesLead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Procurement, and Treasury teams to improve operational alignmentDeliver insights and recommendations to Finance leadership on AP performance, trends, and cost-saving opportunitiesSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field10+ years of experience managing accounts payable operations or related finance functions such as General Ledger in complex or global organizationsHands-on experience working with accounts payable systems, ERP platforms, and finance automation initiatives5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams in a global or multi-regional environmentProven experience establishing and maintaining internal controls, compliance frameworks, and operational improvementsExperience supporting finance transformation, system implementations, or operational efficiency initiativesStrong understanding of accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance frameworks relevant to Accounts PayableStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProven leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop high-performing teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy and integrityStrategic mindset with the ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencyProfessional proficiency in English is requiredAbility to work across U.S. business hours and time zones and operate effectively in a remote working environment with reliable internet connectivityProfessional accounting qualifications such as CPA, CA, CIMA, CMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent are preferredExperience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP or similar enterprise platforms) is beneficialCompany OverviewNTT Global Data Centers is a division of NTT DATA.
