This role focuses on maximizing the value of PBS’s content library and driving audience growth through innovative content strategies and cross-functional collaboration.ResponsibilitiesDeep expertise in recommendation-driven platforms dynamics (e.g., algorithms) and an understanding of how growth levers translate across other digital platforms including streaming apps and social video ecosystemsProven track record of driving growth at meaningful scale (e.g., large audiences, multi-channel ecosystems, or rapid-growth environments) across YouTube, streaming, or digital video businesses, with measurable impact on audience growth and engagement metricsExperience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across content, marketing, analytics, and product teamsSkilled at building relationships and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders, creators, and external partnersStrategic and analytical thinker who uses performance data, audience insights, and platform trends to drive measurable growth outcomes and inform both distribution strategy and upstream content decisionsServe as a central connector across teams, translating audience insights into actionable programming, packaging, and distribution strategies.
