The role involves data analysis, interface build, documentation, and collaboration with various stakeholders to improve healthcare processes and systems.ResponsibilitiesFunctions as a bridge between customers, operations, vendors, application build teams, and other technical staff such as networking and system administrationAssists in the development and installation of in-house developed softwareAssists in the integration of Epic, RRH systems and other healthcare related software using a crafty combination of Epic Bridges application and Rhapsody Interface EngineAssists in the maintenance of application software that is the responsibility of the Information Services DepartmentProvides technical expertise to all IT members and potential members of the end-user communityMaintains a high degree of computer expertisePerforms other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience required3 to 5 years of related programming experienceExperience with Integration Engines (Rhapsody Professional or Expert Certification a plus)Knowledge of HL7, X12, and other messaging formatsGeneral Database Knowledge and Experience with SQLEpic Bridges Certification a plusKnowledge of Integrated Systems regarding EMR communication with Ancillary SystemsCompany OverviewRochester Regional Health provides integrated health services.
