[Remote] Sr. Fund Accountant (Remote)

SpectrumCareers is a growing and highly respected investment management firm seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their finance team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work closely with fund leadership and play a key role in financial reporting and accounting operations for multiple investment vehicles.ResponsibilitiesMaintain the general ledger and accounting records for multiple private investment fundsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPCalculate and review Net Asset Value (NAV) reporting and investor allocationsRecord investment activity, including purchases, sales, income, realized gains/losses, and fair value adjustmentsPrepare capital call, distribution, and waterfall calculationsCoordinate quarterly closes and assist with year-end audit processesWork closely with third-party administrators, auditors, tax providers, and internal stakeholdersPrepare and review investor reporting packages and supporting schedulesAssist with cash management, reconciliations, and treasury-related activitiesSupport the preparation of regulatory and compliance reporting as neededIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficienciesParticipate in special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiativesSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of accounting experience, including fund accounting, public accounting, private equity, hedge fund, real estate fund, venture capital, or investment management experienceStrong understanding of investment accounting concepts and financial reportingAdvanced Excel skills and experience with fund accounting systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience working with partnership accounting and investor allocationsCPA designation or CPA track is highly preferredCompany OverviewAchieving your life vision begins with a relationship with us.
