[Remote] Sr. Full Stack Developer

The Sr. Full Stack Developer is a key contributor to the development of Datascan’s highly flexible web services SAAS platform, responsible for advancing the core product through new capabilities and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and maintenance of complex and scalable web applicationsProvide technical direction and guidance to junior developersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project deliveryCollaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and refine project requirementsWork closely with technical leads and architects to develop new and existing solutions of varying degrees of complexityWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeDevelop and implement automated tests to ensure code quality and functionalityIdentify bottlenecks and optimize application performanceConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practicesDrive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologiesAssist junior members of team as neededAct as a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership with the development teamStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and guide the team in adopting new tools and frameworksSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field and a minimum of 4 years of experience or equivalent experience with a minimum of 6 years experienceStrong understanding of technologies such as ASP.NET, .NET MAUI, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, jQueryExtensive experience in mobile application developmentExperience submitting an application to Apple App Store and the Google Play StoreStrong understanding of object-oriented programmingKnowledge of software architecture and design patternsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a team environmentEager to learn new technologies and capable of looking for pragmatic solutions to problemsFocus on software quality via developer testing and test automationExperience with Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Agile and Scrum processes and JiraThorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Advanced knowledge of software development principles and methodologiesExceptional problem-solving and analytical skillsBenefitsFull time (40 hours per week).This position is a remote position with occasional work from the office for business need.
