They are seeking a Senior Federal Project Manager to lead the implementation of communication system projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesLeads large projects or portions of very complex projects. Directs and coordinates the work activities of project teamDemonstrates a firm understanding of all nine areas of PMBOK project management and has expertise in two areasExperienced in running project phases. Is able to oversee development of the complete project planIs able to establish, track, and audit project budgets, analyze variances and develop action plans as requiredRepresents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership roleA project manager is accountable for accomplishing the stated project objectives within the stipulated time period and budgetEnsures that the three constraints (quality, cost and time) that face every project are properly managedSkillsBachelor's Degree and 8+ years of project/program management or similar business experienceOR 10+ years of project/program management or similar business experienceMust be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contractLegal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
