They are seeking a highly experienced Senior F5 Engineer to lead the planning, migration, and upgrade of F5 infrastructure, focusing on transitioning from F5 iSeries appliances to rSeries platforms and executing a secure and scalable F5 VPN solution upgrade.ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, migration, and upgrade of F5 infrastructureTransition from F5 iSeries appliances to rSeries platformsExecute a secure and scalable F5 VPN solution upgradeProvide expert-level F5 BIG-IP administration, architecture, and troubleshootingDesign and execute F5 i-Series to R-Series migrations and platform modernization projectsImplement F5 Access Policy Manager (APM) including VPN design, implementation, and supportDesign high availability (HA), Active/Active, disaster recovery, and application resiliency architectureConfigure Global Traffic Manager (GTM) / BIG-IP DNS and manage trafficDeploy and configure the F5 Application Study Tool and perform application dependency analysisPerform solution design, implementation planning, testing, migration support, and production cutover activitiesProduce technical documentation, operational runbooks, and conduct knowledge transfer sessionsSkills7+ years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP platforms and proven experience with iSeries to rSeries hardware migration, F5 APM VPN deployments and upgrades.
