They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, support, and optimize complex enterprise network environments, ensuring reliability, security, and performance while driving continuous improvements.ResponsibilitiesDesign, plan, script, and execute network changes following established change management processesTroubleshoot complex network incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term solutionsManage network performance, availability, and reliability while driving proactive improvementsSupport network upgrades, migrations, software updates, patching, capacity planning, and resiliency initiativesImplement and maintain network security controls, including firewall policies, ACLs, zero-trust segmentation, and access governanceMonitor network health and integrate observability tools to identify and prevent performance degradationDevelop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, operational procedures, and runbooksPartner with Network Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Service Delivery teams, and external vendors to resolve issues and support strategic initiativesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related technical field5–7 years of professional experience in network engineering or infrastructure supportStrong hands-on experience with Cisco MerakiStrong hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela SD-WANStrong hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WANStrong hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)Strong hands-on experience with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRPStrong hands-on experience with MPLS and Quality of Service (QoS)Strong hands-on experience with enterprise LAN/WAN environmentsStrong hands-on experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimizationStrong hands-on experience with network security and firewall managementExperience supporting highly available, resilient enterprise networksCisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIEExperience with Cisco Prime InfrastructureExperience with Cisco DNA CenterKnowledge of network architecture, design principles, and governance standardsBenefitsThis position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus or incentive compensation, subject to applicable plan terms and company policies.Company OverviewCBTS provides end-to-end IT and communications solutions that allow businesses to improve efficiency, enable innovation, and mitigate risk.
