They are seeking a Senior Director, Global Sales Planning & Operations to lead sales planning, forecasting, and operations, serving as a strategic advisor to the CRO and sales leadership team.ResponsibilitiesOwn the global forecasting cadence, including weekly and quarterly forecast processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and executive visibilityLead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development, partnering cross-functionally to build bottom-up revenue plans and executive presentationsEstablish standardized planning frameworks, inputs, and reporting across regions and verticalsDevelop and deliver executive-level reporting, including Monthly Financial Reviews, QBRs, and Board of Directors (BOD) materialsTranslate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for the CRO and leadership teamLead global sales operations processes including pipeline management, bookings analysis, and performance trackingDrive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations to ensure execution against revenue targetsSupport international expansion by defining operational requirements and go-to-market considerationsDesign and evolve scalable sales incentive programs aligned to growth prioritiesAct as executive sponsor for key sales systems initiatives, including CRM (SFDC) consolidation and OMS enhancementsDefine roadmap for sales tools and infrastructure to improve productivity, data quality, and decision-makingPartner with enablement to develop global sales programs, training, and content aligned to GTM prioritiesBuild and lead a high-performing global Sales Operations team and establish best-in-class planning and governance frameworksSkills12+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or business planning in a global technology environment (AI/HPC experience a plus)Proven experience supporting executive leadership (CRO, CFO, or equivalent)Deep expertise in forecasting, AOP planning, sales analytics, and compensation designStrong executive communication and storytelling skills; ability to influence at board levelExperience leading global, cross-functional teams and large-scale initiativesProficiency with CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, BI platforms)BenefitsThe position is bonus-eligibleMedical, dental, and vision benefits availableThere is a 401k saving planPaid Time OffLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance PlanCompany OverviewPenguin Solutions helps companies expedite their digital transformation by utilizing the potential of emerging technologies.
