[Remote] SR DESIGN ENGINEER

The Sr. Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing tankless water heaters, boilers, and related products, while also managing suppliers and ensuring product specifications are met.ResponsibilitiesDesign and evaluate mechanical/electromechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet program requirements by applying engineering principles, including detailed analysis as appropriateDesign and develop new heat exchangers, and modify existing heat exchangersInvestigate system malfunctions or anomalies, identify the root cause and corrective actions, and provide technical information to justify conclusionsOversee assembly, test, integration, operation, maintenance, and repair of products to ensure they perform to specificationsUsing PTC Creo, design and create water heater/boiler/HVAC components, assemblies, fixtures, and parts 3D solid geometry modelsDistill system requirements into component and subsystem requirementsSpecify system component requirements or modify existing products to ensure conformance with engineering design intent and performance specificationsGenerate engineering drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerances. These drawings should be suitable to support the machining and manufacturability of the componentsInterface with suppliers and external contractorsDevelop and implement manufacturing processes.
