As a Sr. Data Engineer I, you will support USCIS IT system delivery by performing integrated data analytics, AI/ML tasks, and DevSecOps in cloud environments, contributing to the modernization of complex identity management systems.ResponsibilitiesWork with AI team members to operationalize data pipelines and ML tasksProvide day-to-day support of deploying Python-native ML pipelines and perform data engineering tasks to enable AI/ML capabilitiesPresent results to a diverse audience in presentation or report formSupport architectural leadership, technical support, and advisement services to ensure identity management system technologies are integrated and meeting the appropriate security requirementsSupport leadership who engage with senior level executives at a public facing Federal agency and provide subject matter expertise in security architecture and other key domain areasSkillsThe ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability5+ years of experience in Data/ML engineering (if school experience is used, at most that would contribute to 4 years of actual experience)Experience with ETL, Data Labeling and Data PrepExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining data architecture and services to be used for AI/ML. Additionally, operationalizing and maintaining AI/ML models in productionAbility to perform data analytics on program related or system related activities.
