The Sr Analytics Architect will lead the implementation and integration of data-driven solutions, utilizing modern data management and engineering technologies to enhance organizational analytics and business initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDeliver value through the pervasive use of modern technology to increase the velocity and accuracy of data deliveryDesign and develop scalable, high-performance data architectures capitalizing on the rapidly innovating features of technologies like Snowflake and dbtDeliver Snowflake Best Practices engagements across the key areas of Data Governance, Data Security, Cost Management, Data Engineering, and Individual Access ManagementEngage with divisional managers to understand challenges and recommend key innovative solutionsDesign and implement Snowflake Data Strategy to meet business goalsEngage with senior leadership to develop applications for furthering critical business objectives and designing solutions anchored in DataOps principlesCollaborate with stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives and identify opportunities to leverage data and data qualityConsult on complex data platform programs, synchronizing cross-cutting architectural concerns and providing client-facing technical leadership and guidance as a data subject matter expertCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with organizational objectivesWork hands-on with AI infrastructure to ensure scalability and securityArchitect components of an LLM solution to address Responsible AI & SecurityIncrease the velocity of our development and enable the organization to use their gifts to develop new features and datasets and less time on fixing themProtect the data pipeline by monitoring the production schedule and troubleshooting failuresAnticipate, identify and solve issues concerning data management to improve data quality. Work across teams to resolve operational & performance issuesAdminister Snowflake security strategy and database managementDrive the design and implementation of new data projects and optimize existing solutionsManage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining, engineering, modeling, visualization, and communicationSupervise offshore analytic engineers for timely delivery and quality developmentDesign and drive the strategy around data governance, data security and data privacy to support business and SOX compliance requirementsArchitect and design end-to-end Generative AI products, applications, and solutions for specific business needs and provide implementation guidance during deliveryEnsure ethical AI development practices, prioritizing fairness, transparency, and privacyFoster innovation by keeping abreast of emerging technologies and fostering development of the team’s skillIdentify processes for system automation to improve team effectivenessDevelop a Snowflake optimization methodology for cost and performance improvementDrive change management and adoption of new processes and automated solutionsResearch and test new technology solutions, assist in vetting architectural changes that would have to occur to support enterprise adoption and determine impactsStay at the forefront of AI advancements, advising on emerging trends in GenAI, LLMs, and AI copilotsPromote Advanced Analytics and using data driven decisions to be a competitive advantage across the Post Holdings network through strategic leadership and guidanceCollaborate with senior leadership to promote data driven decision making across the enterpriseMentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development within the teamDirect the development of comprehensive training programs and documents with the goal of creating effective end-users for all advanced analytic toolsPromote AI adoption, leading workshops, demos, and hands-on training sessions on AI tools like Doc AI and enterprise-grade modelsSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other quantitative subject preferred7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience considered7 years of experience working with various Data Analysis, Data Warehousing / Data Lakes, Data Sharing, Data Engineering, Data Quality, Business Intelligence, or ERP software packages (Tableau, Informatica, SAP, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, JDE) preferredExpertise in programming languages, including Structured Query Language (SQL), Python desiredStrong experience in designing end-to-end AI solutionsWorking knowledge on any of the key ETL / data pipeline market tools such as dbt, Snowflake, Python, Informatica, Azure Data Factory is preferredWorking knowledge of developing APIsAdvanced user in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint & Visio; must have expert functional knowledge of ExcelDeep understanding of modern Azure service offeringsData workflow management in systems like Automate, Airflow, or dbtExperience with JIRA / GitHub or other code management toolsets and experience with change control conceptsExceptional analytical skills & advanced problem-solving skillsKnowledge of best practices in data analysis and data modelingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to concisely convey analytical interpretation and / or data issues to affected members of departmentsExpert ability to define and design solution options, evaluate technical feasibility and provide estimates on effort and riskExceptional experience building positive relationships across teams and roles; business partners, engineering, architecture, and platformsTeam oriented, results driven, love to learn, can-do attitudeCompany OverviewPost Holdings is a consumer goods company currently operating in the center-of-the-store, active nutrition and private label food It was founded in 1895, and is headquartered in St Louis, Missouri, USA, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
