The role involves building AI-native platform capabilities on AWS, designing event-driven services, and collaborating with internal engineers on architecture and design reviews.ResponsibilitiesAgentic coding tools. Production use of Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, or equivalent. Comfortable with MCP servers, context strategy, and prompt/workflow designHas opinions on when to use an agent and when not toAWS serverless, advanced. Deep production experience with Lambda, DynamoDB (single-table design, GSI strategy, streams), SNS/SQS/EventBridge (fan-out, DLQs, idempotency), API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, CloudWatch. Builds event-driven, on-demand systems that idle cheaply and burst on traffic. IaC with CDK (preferred) or Terraform. Bedrock + GenAI on AWS. Has shipped production RAG, agents, or workflows on Bedrock — Knowledge Bases, Agents, Guardrails. Understands model routing, prompt caching, and inference cost tuning.
