They are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to architect and build LLM-driven applications and AI platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and build LLM-driven applications and AI platformsDesign, optimize, and deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelinesWork across Generative AI, traditional Machine Learning, and automation use casesDeploy and operate AI systems in cloud environments, ensuring high performance and scalabilityCollaborate with backend, cloud, data, and product teams to integrate AI solutionsMentor junior engineers, guiding them in best practices, and help define AI engineering standards at CoPilotLead the design and deployment of enterprise-grade AI platforms integrated with existing client technology stacksEngage in architecture discussions with stakeholders and client teams, offering technical advice and recommendationsSkillsBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field5+ years of hands-on experience in AI engineering, with a focus on Generative AI, RAG, and cloud-based AI systemsStrong background in Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning (ML), and AI-driven automationHands-on experience building LLM-driven applications, agentic workflows, and AI microservicesDeep expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), including document ingestion, chunking strategies, embeddings, vector search, re-ranking, and response groundingPractical use of tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI for LLM orchestration and multi-agent systemsStrong foundation in classical ML techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, ranking, and feature engineeringExperience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow for model development and experimentationProficiency with vector databases like MongoDB Atlas Vector Search, FAISS, Pinecone, or similarStrong cloud experience, including deployment of AI services and workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCPFamiliarity with cloud AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Services, GCP Vertex AIHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment patternsExperience implementing MLOps/LLMOps, including model versioning, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD or similar), experiment tracking (MLflow, Kubeflow), and AI observabilityUnderstanding of cost, latency, performance optimization, and secure, multi-tenant AI deploymentsStrong programming skills in Python, with experience in building backend services and APIsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience working in consulting or enterprise environmentsComfortable participating in architecture discussions with client teamsAbility to explain AI trade-offs to non-technical stakeholdersProven ability to mentor and lead teams, with an interest in growing into an AI Engineering Lead roleBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits.Fully remote position.Medical insuranceCompany OverviewThe Plum Tree Group is an interactive agency focusing on solutions for emerging businesses.
