They are seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to build and scale their accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and establishing processes and controls as the company grows.ResponsibilitiesOwn key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysesHelp shorten close timelines and improve accuracy through automation and process improvements in NetSuiteRecord and reconcile payroll, including salaries, bonuses, and commissionsPartner cross-functionally with Sales Ops to ensure accurate commission accruals and payoutsMaintain payroll-related accruals and ensure compliance with company policiesManage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reportingTrack capital expenditures, disposals, and depreciation/amortization schedulesTrack and account for capitalization of internal-use software in accordance with GAAPMaintain inventory records for hardware and cybersecurity equipmentPerform reconciliations and support periodic inventory countsMaintain accounting for leases in accordance with ASC 842, including modifications, remeasurements, and disclosuresAdminister lease accounting under ASC 842Maintain lease schedules and record right-of-use assets and liabilitiesRecord and reconcile intercompany activity across entitiesSupport consolidation and elimination entries within NetSuiteSupport annual financial audits, including preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring timely completionAssist with internal controls documentation and process improvements to strengthen financial governancePartner with HR, FP&A, Procurement, and Engineering to ensure accurate financial data and alignment across teamsSupport process automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracySkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in SaaS, technology, or cybersecurityStrong hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)Deep understanding of GAAP, including ASC 842 and capitalized software guidanceExperience with multi-entity and intercompany accountingAdvanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasetsSelf-starter with the ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesSaaS or cybersecurity industry experienceExperience building accounting processes from scratch or scaling operationsExposure to inventory accounting in a tech/hardware-enabled businessBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with employer matching.Generous paid time off and holidays.Flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.Employee assistance programs.Training and development opportunities.Adoption assistance program.Company OverviewLevelBlue is a cybersecurity company that offers network security and endpoint management services.
