[Remote] SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist

The SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist will develop, support, and optimize robust solutions in SQL Server for Legal Services projects, collaborating with Solutions Architects and Project Managers to exceed client expectations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, debug, and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problemsDetermine and implement effective strategies to explore, analyze, interpret, standardize, and conform complex datasetsCollaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirementsAssist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each projectInterface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirementsManage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstaclesSkillsHigh end analytic skill in SQLProblem solverAbility to shift quickly5+ years' experience in leading the development of technical solutions10+ years' experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databasesAdvanced/expert level knowledge and experience working with SQL Server and/or in the development of T-SQL codeProficient in tuning T-SQL queries and/or in the optimization of database server performanceExperience performing complex data analysis of very large datasetsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related fields) strongly preferredAbility to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet the needs of the businessExcellent communication skills for collaborative interaction with peers, managers, and business stakeholdersComfortable in consultative interactions, able to clearly and confidently articulate both challenges and solutions to non-technical stakeholdersMust enjoy and have experience working in a fast paced environment, able to quickly realign with shifting prioritiesCompany OverviewApTask is a staffing and recruiting company offering staffing, project, and workforce solutions.
