We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Specialist Non-Medical Prescriber to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive remote assessments to diagnose ADHD, taking into account medical history, behavioral observations, and patient input
Prescribe and manage medication therapies for patients diagnosed with ADHD, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety
Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness through regular follow-up appointments and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families on ADHD management strategies, medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, counselors, and educators, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation of patient encounters in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
Stay up-to-date with current research, developments, and guidelines related to ADHD diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing practices
Participate in professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
Requirements:
Valid V300 non-medical prescribing qualification
Proven experience in independently prescribing medications for ADHD
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in clear, understandable terms
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient care and documentation
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a remote environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months (or willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one)
