We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our innovative virtual learning program based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This remote position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working from home.

Position Overview
The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in online instruction and possess strong technological competencies.

Essential Responsibilities
- Design and deliver specialized instruction through virtual platforms to meet individual student needs
- Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs in compliance with federal and state requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Conduct virtual meetings with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to parents/guardians regarding student learning strategies
- Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid North Carolina teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and educational technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with team members
