The role involves providing high-quality real-world input to shape how AI models learn and perform, alongside responsibilities such as quality monitoring and documentation.ResponsibilitiesQuality monitoring: Spot-check Spanish items, identify quality issues, provide ongoing feedback through DMs, and escalate recurring or critical issuesTrainer and QA communication: Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new item guidelines, project changes, workflow updates, and quality expectationsQuestion handling: Respond to trainer/QA questions clearly and promptly, especially around Spanish wording, grammar, tone, register, translation fidelity, cultural context, terminology, and Latin American vs European Spanish usage differencesTrainer/QA activation management: DM contributors who are inactive or not working, encourage activation, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues when neededDocumentation: Create and maintain Spanish project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materialsOnboarding and training: Schedule and run onboarding/training calls with trainers and QAs to explain project expectations, workflows, rubrics, quality standards, and Spanish-specific style requirementsQuality alignment: Ensure all trainers and QAs apply Spanish language guidelines consistently and understand updates as projects evolveProcess improvement: Identify recurring quality gaps, propose workflow improvements, and help build scalable QA processes for Spanish-language projectsSkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a relevant domain/related fieldNative or near-native Spanish proficiency with strong reading and writing skillsStrong grasp of the English language to follow project guidelines, communicate with teams, and provide clear feedback in English3+ years of professional experience in Spanish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review workflowsStrong understanding of Spanish grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, accents, tone, register, formal/informal usage, and cultural contextComfortable handling Latin American Spanish and/or European Spanish, including vocabulary, voseo/tuteo/ustedeo usage, localization expectations, and audience adaptation.
