[Remote] Solutions Engineer/Consultant

They are seeking a highly motivated Solutions Engineer/Consultant to support the deployment of waste management technology solutions, collaborating with clients and internal teams to optimize operations and enhance sustainability.ResponsibilitiesWork directly with solid waste management clients to understand their service operations and technical needsDesign and configure Routeware’s platform solutions, including route optimization, GPS tracking, data analytics, and reporting systemsDemonstrate product features and benefits through technical presentations and live deploymentsProvide technical guidance and support during pre-sales consultations, onboarding, and ongoing system operationsCustomize integrations with existing client systems, including ERP, billing, and fleet management softwareCollaborate with Routeware’s product team to communicate client feedback and help shape future product enhancementsDevelop training materials, user guides, and documentation to ensure successful client adoptionStay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging innovations in solid waste management technologySkillsBachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in solutions engineering, technical sales, or systems implementation within the waste management or logistics industryStrong understanding of waste collection operations, route planning, GPS, telematics, and data analyticsFamiliarity with enterprise software integrations, cloud platforms, and mobile solutionsExcellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholdersWillingness to travel to client sites and industry events as neededExperience with Routeware products, or similar waste management platform solutionsKnowledge of industry standards, government regulations, and sustainability initiativesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBenefitsComprehensive benefits (medical with HSA option, vision, dental, and life insurance)Paid parental leaveMedical and Dependent FSA401K matchUnlimited PTOTen company holidays1 Volunteer daySummer Friday'sCompany OverviewRouteware helps mid-large private and municipal haulers and cities relieve operational and cost pressures and overcome environmental challenges.
