This role involves managing project scope, collaborating with customers on system configurations, and ensuring successful delivery of projects to enhance client satisfaction and operational alignment.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for complex client projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through completionDefine, manage, and control project scope, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on deliverables, timelines, and milestonesCollaborate with customers to gather operational requirements and design system configurations that maximize efficiency and product capabilitiesLead onsite teams by developing detailed schedules and directing internal and external resources to meet project objectivesIdentify and mitigate project risks, developing escalation plans and driving resolution of issues impacting scope, timeline, or customer satisfactionInstall, configure, test, and validate system solutions to ensure operational consistency and production readinessManage data conversion and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity throughout implementationTroubleshoot and resolve software issues, providing both tactical and strategic solutionsCollaborate with internal teams to drive product improvements and enhance implementation processes based on client feedbackEnsure comprehensive project documentation is completed and transitioned to support teams for ongoing client successSkillsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience5β7 years of experience in system implementation, consulting, or hospitality technology environmentsExperience with hospitality systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), inventory/procurement systems, or related technologiesStrong understanding of business operations and accounting practicesProven experience managing complex project implementation lifecyclesWillingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 90%), including domestic and international travelStrong project management and organizational skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesEffective communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demandsStrong customer service orientation and commitment to client successProficiency in Microsoft Office tools (including PowerPoint and Visio)Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiativeCollaboration and teamwork across cross-functional groupsHighly customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional resultsStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityResilient and able to perform under pressure in dynamic environmentsProactive and solution-oriented mindsetAdaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and evolving project needsTeam-oriented with strong interpersonal skillsDriven to exceed expectations and continuously improve processesCompany OverviewAgilysys is a hospitality solutions company.
