They are seeking a Solutions Consultant who will serve as a technical lead, directing all technical sales activities and developing formal technical account plans for strategic customers or partners. This role involves applying expert-level consultative solution selling skills, leading technical teams, and maintaining technical mastery across multiple solution specializations.ResponsibilitiesServes as technical lead and directs all technical sales activities for strategic customers or partners in assigned territoryOperates as a visionary leader, respected consultant, and trusted advisor to customers or partnersLeads the technical team in the development of formal technical account plans and proposalsApplies expert-level consultative solution selling skills to articulate end-to-end Avaya value at all levelsDevelops and executes technical architectures and strategies to maximize Avaya’s opportunities within the customer or partner environmentCoordinates and delivers demos, trials, and proofs-of-concepts for large-scale, complex integrations to customers, partners and prospectsWhen supporting the channel, creates the appropriate infrastructure to support partner delivery of demos, trials, and proofs-of-conceptsApplies hands-on technical skills in beta and complex lab environments for customers or partnersWhen supporting the channel, authors roadmap adoption and enablement plans based on partner business plan requirementsServes as liaison to Avaya to ensure relevant customer/partner feedback on product and process improvements is consideredLeads knowledge transfer sessions to educate customers and partners with the latest technical, industry and product knowledgeActively mentors and coaches less-experienced Sales EngineersTrains partner SEs to be force multipliers with their customer baseWhen supporting acquisition accounts, actively prospects, networks, and conducts research to identify and acquire new customersResponsible for maintaining technical mastery across the stack and in multiple solution specializationsServes as expert resource in the development of technical training and certificationsPartners with business unit teams to define market features and develop use cases; leads beta trials for strategic accounts or partnersPublishes white papers and design guides; regularly presents at internal, customer or partner seminarsSkills8 - 10 Years of ExperienceBachelor degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer ScienceMastery of the technologies and solutions supported by this role requiredDemonstrated history of large enterprise architectures and implementationsImplementation and Operational background requiredMultiple industry and vendor certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco or GenesysExperience with very large scale and complex communication system architectures, applications, customers, partners and implementations preferredCompany OverviewAvaya is a global leader in enterprise communications, hybrid cloud CCaaS and UC solutions for mission-critical, AI-agnostic workflows.
