They are seeking a Solutions Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor, working closely with Account Executives to address customer challenges and deliver tailored solutions that enhance research administration and compliance.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Account Executives to understand customer goals, workflows, challenges, and strategic initiativesLead and participate in discovery sessions to identify business requirements and opportunitiesTranslate customer requirements into tailored solution recommendationsDevelop solution strategies that align Cayuse capabilities with customer prioritiesDeliver compelling and tailored demonstrations of Cayuse products and solutionsCustomize demo environments to reflect customer use cases and business processesPresent to diverse audiences including: Research Administrators, Compliance Offices, Sponsored Programs Offices, IRB, IACUC, IBC, and COI Administrators, Research Leadership, Executive StakeholdersArticulate business value, operational efficiencies, compliance benefits, and ROIServe as the primary subject matter expert during the sales cycleParticipate in account planning activities including stakeholder mapping, competitive analysis, whitespace identification, and executive engagement strategiesAssist Account Executives in developing multi-threaded engagement plans within strategic accountsSupport strategic account planning and deal progressionAssist with responses to RFPs, RFIs, security reviews, and technical evaluationsParticipate in competitive positioning and objection handlingSupport customer expansion, modernization, and retention initiativesMaintain expertise across the Cayuse Research SuiteStay current on research administration trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practicesProvide market feedback to Product Management and LeadershipContribute to sales enablement and knowledge-sharing initiativesLeverage existing professional relationships within higher education, academic medical centers, healthcare systems, and research institutions to identify opportunities, facilitate introductions, and support business development effortsMaintain and expand a network of research administration, compliance, sponsored programs, and research operations professionalsParticipate in industry organizations, conferences, presentations, user groups, and networking events to build market awareness and strengthen customer relationshipsDevelop and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision-makers across the research administration ecosystemDevelop reusable demonstration assets, discovery guides, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement contentServe as a thought leader internally and externally through webinars, conference presentations, customer panels, and industry eventsSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Research Administration, Sponsored Programs Administration, IRB Administration, IACUC Administration, Clinical Research Administration, Research Compliance, Pre-Sales / Solutions Consulting, Research Administration SoftwareStrong presentation and communication skillsExperience conducting customer-facing meetings and demonstrationsAbility to understand and communicate complex business processesStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel up to 40%Existing professional network within research administration, sponsored programs, compliance, clinical research, or academic medical center communities strongly preferredActive participation in organizations such as NCURA, SRAI, PRIM&R, AURP, HCCA, AALAS, or similar professional associationsBenefitsCompetitive Medical Benefits (PPO + HSA available)Vision, Dental, Short-Term Disability fully covered by CayuseUnlimited PTO + Holidays + Flexible Work ScheduleRemote Work StipendEqual Paid Parental Leave401k with Employer MatchingQuarterly Wellness ReimbursementRemote Work Environment, supporting the Ultimate Employee ExperienceCompany OverviewCayuse is a SaaS company that empowers globally connected research.
