The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and delivering technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization, working closely with the Digital Product organization to translate business requirements into sustainable technical architectures.ResponsibilitiesDesigns and documents complex end-to-end solutions that align with enterprise architecture and meet business capability needs across systems and platformsDevelops architecture blueprints, integration patterns, and high-quality technical documentation to support solution implementationConduct in-depth impact analyses and risk assessments for proposed solutions, identifying and recommending mitigation strategies for complex technical and business issuesEnsures architectural solutions adhere to infrastructure, security, performance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA), partnering closely with compliance, security, and platform domain expertsLeads solution architecture reviews through the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process, ensuring governance and alignment with enterprise technology strategyEvaluates and recommends emerging technologies, platforms, and vendor solutions based on business and technical fit, contributing to long-term strategic planningCollaborates with Digital Product teams and business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into architecture roadmaps, guiding the development of actionable user storiesProvides architecture leadership and guidance to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring architectural integrity and implementation successLeads or contributes to the development of RFIs, RFPs, and Statements of Work (SOWs) in coordination with Vendor Management and ProcurementCoaches and reviews the work of lower-level architects and technical team members, ensuring adherence to best practices, patterns, and standardsContributes to strategic enterprise initiatives such as cloud migration, digital transformation, and data modernizationStays current with healthcare technology trends, interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and regulatory requirementsSkillsExperience with Enterprise scale solutions including integration of multiple systems to achieve functional goalsUnderstanding of infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity principlesFamiliarity with healthcare standards and regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, HL7, FHIR)Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStrategic thinking and business acumenTechnical depth across application, data, and infrastructure domainsAbility to balance innovation with operational stabilityExperience with vendor evaluation and integrationAbility to lead with influence in the absence of direct organizational powerExperience with Agile and DevOps methodologiesExcellent documentation and oral/written communication skillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field requiredMinimum of 6 years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years in solution architecture roles requiredExperience in healthcare IT systems, including RCM systems, EHRs, patient portals, and clinical workflowsPreferably has past experience working with cliniciansPreferably has past experience with designing end to end user experiencesCloud platforms (Azure, AWS) Certificates and Licenses (if applicable)Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or healthcare IT certifications are a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Limited Healthcare FSA, FSAs for Transportation and Parking & HSAs.Paid time off, 9 observed holidays and paid family leaveYou accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.Qualifying employees are eligible to enroll from day oneCompany OverviewThe practice of medicine is more than a job.
