[Remote] Solar Project Manager

Sargent Electric Company is a nationally recognized electrical contractor seeking a talented Solar Project Manager to support their De Pere, WI office. The role involves estimating, supervising, and managing construction activities for multi-million-dollar solar projects, ensuring safety and client satisfaction throughout the process.ResponsibilitiesPerform estimating and solicit pricing from subcontractors, material and equipment vendorsAssemble and submit proposals with requested documentsReview and understand the terms and conditions of project contractsProvide key input into the development and execution of all subcontracts and vendor purchase ordersCompile project tool and equipment needsSuccessfully manage assigned projects including budgets, schedules, resource and workforce allocation, communication and client satisfactionTimely decisions and direction to ensure project successThe proper utilization/management of Company-Owned and rented equipmentDirect supervision of all project assigned supervisory and other management office/staffProvide appropriate guidance and input into the development and updating of all project schedules, job cost and other management reportsAssemble payment requisitionsReview and approve all project purchasesReview and approve all key job site construction methods and practicesPrepare for timely submission all necessary monthly job cost and other financial reportsSupport all Company training and employee development activities and provide appropriate input and feedback, as necessaryVisit and walk project sites on a regular basis and provide feedback/input/follow-up, as requiredEnsure that all work meets the highest standards of workmanship, and that all work and materials are in compliance with project specifications and drawingsManage all job close out procedures to ensure project and Company requirements are metAssume additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the management teamSkillsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or experience as a Superintendent for an Electrical ContractorMinimum of 6 years of Project Leadership experience successfully completing multi-million-dollar electrical construction projectsHave a good working knowledge of computers and basic software applicationsCompany OverviewSargent Electric Company is an electrical contractor specializing in the industrial, utility, commercial, wireless and service markets.
