with product team members (UX, engineering, and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutionsDrives strategic technical decisions and influences architecture to build highly scalable, performant, and resilient systemsDesigns and implements solutions incorporating AI/ML capabilities to improve automation, forecasting, and business outcomesBuilds and enhances systems supporting retail pricing, promotions, and optimization, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performanceDocuments, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are metWrites custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test casesWorks with vendors and partners for the successful implementation of critical tooling and platformsCreates meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactivelyContributes to enterprise-wide tools to drive destructive testing, automation, and engineering empowermentEvaluates new technologies, including AI/ML platforms and tools, for adoption across the enterpriseParticipates in and leads review board sessions to drive consistency across abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job7 years of work experience7-9 years of relevant work experienceMastery of a modern programming language (preferably java & Python)Experience productionizing statistical models, AI/ML systems, and Generative AI solutions at enterprise scaleExperience working with or integrating AI/ML models and data-driven systemsExperience with retail pricing systems, promotions, or price optimization platformsMastery of a modern web application framework such as Ruby on Rails, Spring MVC, and Node.jsMastery of writing SQL queries against a relational database and No SQL databasesExperience championing AI agents to improve developer productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance team effectivenessExperience managing large-scale solution delivery in highly matrixed and cross-functional environmentsMastery of modern product development processes and
