[Remote] Software Engineer Intern (TikTok-Product Infrastructure-Customer Service Platform) - 2026 Summer(BS/MS)

The role involves front-end development, understanding business requirements, and optimizing development models to enhance user experience and satisfaction. Responsibilities Responsible for front-end development of the TikTok customer service platform, including but not limited to page interactions, data visualization, and customer service systems Understand business requirements, capable of tackling technical challenges, and possess certain technical planning and architectural design capabilities Explore and optimize the development models and process standards of the team to help improve development efficiency and code quality Skills Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2026 Solid foundation in computer science, proficient in at least one front-end framework (React/Vue), with an understanding of the design philosophy behind the framework Understand front-end engineering concepts, capable of designing robust system modules and components, with a strong sense of code structure and standardization Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship Familiarity with Node.js, knowledge of frameworks such as Express/Koa, and prior experience in server-side application development is preferred Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of actively working with product and design teams to better understand and meet user requirements Benefits Day one access to health insurance Life insurance Wellbeing benefits 10 paid holidays per year Paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year) Housing allowance Company Overview TikTok is a short-form video entertainment app and social network platform.
