[Remote] Software Engineer, Associate
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RSI is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Product Development organization. The Software Engineers focus on developing multiple types/categories of software including end-user applications and operating systems/utility software, that provides a platform for running end user applications to external customers.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Conducting requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics
ā¢ Using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write the software code
ā¢ Supporting software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements
ā¢ Applying knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Skills
ā¢ BS in Computer Science or related field
ā¢ 1-3 years relevant software development experience
ā¢ Knowledge of Relational Databases, Object Oriented Design, and Data Structures
ā¢ Familiarity with one or more programming languages
ā¢ Work experience with standard development techniques (Agile SDLC, OOD)
ā¢ Experience in SQL
ā¢ Strong analytical problem-solving skills
ā¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
ā¢ Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
ā¢ Professional business demeanor
ā¢ Previous team-oriented development experience
ā¢ Demonstrated proficiency in C#
ā¢ Knowledge of Entity Framework
ā¢ Basic understanding of REST services
ā¢ Web Programming (React, javascript)
