The Software Engineer will be responsible for building new systems, enhancing existing systems, and integrating with external systems while collaborating with a team of developers and product managers.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop or modify software and/or software systems and also taking the service architecture into considerationAnalyze user needs to determine how software should be built or if existing software should be modifiedTranslate business requirements and specifications into usable and scalable softwareLead design and code reviewsParticipate in discussions about the team’s future vision and strategySkills3+ years of professional experience as a backend software engineer for non-trivial web applications3+ years of Ruby on Rails, bonus point for Hotwire Turbo/Stimulus + Tailwind experienceThinks critically about work to guarantee business functionality.
