They are seeking a Software Engineer 6 for their Ads Supply Engineering team, responsible for developing systems and integrations to expand Netflix's advertising platform and enhance ad delivery while maximizing revenue.ResponsibilitiesDevelop advertising systems and integrations that support the delivery of ads through Netflix's content delivery networkIncrease the supply of content and users available for ad monetizationProvide a seamless ad experience while maximizing revenue in a way that respects user privacyEnable internal teams and partners to efficiently onboard and manage new ad supplySkills7+ years of experience, 4+ years of experience in the Ads domainBroad knowledge of ad tech and the advertising landscape, programmatic, and digital marketing trendsStrong experience building 1st party adtech software: AdServer, SSP, DSP, etcStrong experience integrating with 3rd party partners (AdServers, SSP, DSP) with an understanding of both the technical and strategic value of these integrationsExperience with real-time bidding (OpenRTB), auction dynamics, inventory share rules, and carriage split agreementsWorking knowledge of header-bidding and AdServer to AdServer integration techniquesExperience in building first-party tools, APIs, and services that leverage data and real-time insights to support media planning workflowsCollaborated with ad operations to facilitate campaign setup, measurement, targeting, reporting, and advertiser requirements.
