The Social Media Team Lead oversees the strategic direction and daily execution of Nova Ukraine’s digital presence across major platforms, managing a global team to ensure effective messaging that supports the organization's mission to advocate for Ukraine.ResponsibilitiesDirect the strategic planning, creation, and publication of high-quality, high-impact content tailored specifically for all major social media platformsManage and coordinate a distributed global team of volunteers and contractors, ensuring alignment and seamless execution across disparate U.S. and Ukraine time zonesExecute targeted, multi-channel campaigns directly tied to specific organizational fundraising, advocacy, and awareness goalsAnalyze digital trends and own performance tracking using Google Analytics, native platform insights, and social management tools, delivering monthly reports with actionable optimization recommendationsRepurpose core social content into cohesive, scalable assets for email marketing, website updates, and broader campaign collateralMonitor Ukraine-related geopolitical developments to ensure all content is culturally sensitive, fostering community interaction with a strict "dignity-first" approachSkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field3–6 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or public relationsProven experience managing distributed teamsAdvanced proficiency in Google Analytics and native social platform insightsPrior experience running digital fundraising or advocacy campaigns in the nonprofit or humanitarian sectorFluency in UkrainianBenefitsFull-time engagementRemote position: candidates based in the United States are strongly preferredCompany OverviewNova Ukraine is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening civil society in Ukraine and providing humanitarian assistance.
