They are seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead field marketing, event strategy, and social presence, focusing on enhancing brand engagement and customer storytelling within the hospitality sector.ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute Upserve’s event and trade show strategy including restaurant industry conferences, regional hospitality events, partner events, and customer activationsManage booth planning, logistics, vendor coordination, swag, staffing, and on-site executionPartner with Sales and BDR teams to maximize meeting bookings, pipeline generation, and post-event follow-upBuild and manage educational webinars, product launch events, customer spotlight sessions, and co-marketing events with partnersCoordinate promotion, registration, content flow, speaker prep, and post-event nurtureOwn Upserve’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging hospitality-relevant platformsDevelop and manage content calendars, campaign execution, community engagement, and social storytellingCreate and publish content that highlights restaurant operators, customer success, hospitality culture, product value, and industry trendsCapture authentic field content from restaurant visits, customer interviews, trade shows, and hospitality eventsCoordinate customer-generated content including short-form video, testimonials, behind-the-scenes restaurant footage, and operational success storiesHelp make Upserve’s brand feel connected to real restaurant operatorsMonitor and engage with conversations across restaurant communities, hospitality social channels, review platforms, and industry conversationsHelp strengthen Upserve’s voice within the restaurant technology ecosystemSupport PR and thought leadership amplification across social channelsTrack event and social performance metrics including attendance, engagement, pipeline contribution, social reach, and content performancePartner with RevOps and Marketing on attribution and reportingPartner closely with Sales, Partnerships, Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, RevOps, and DesignCoordinate with agencies, freelancers, photographers, videographers, and event vendors as neededSkills4–7+ years of event marketing, social media marketing, field marketing, or community marketing experienceExperience planning and executing trade shows, webinars, and live eventsStrong understanding of modern social media platforms and content strategyExcellent communication, organizational, and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple events and campaigns simultaneouslyComfort working in fast-moving, cross-functional environmentsRestaurant technology, hospitality, events, SaaS, fintech, or SMB technology experienceExperience creating social-first content, short-form video, or customer storytelling campaignsFamiliarity with Salesforce, HubSpot/Pardot, Canva, Figma, webinar platforms, and social scheduling toolsExperience working with influencers, restaurant operators, or hospitality communitiesBenefitsHealth insurance401kPTOCompany OverviewUpserve is the smart management assistant that puts everything restaurateurs need to know in one place.
