They are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to grow their online presence and amplify their message, primarily through managing content for LinkedIn and Facebook.ResponsibilitiesManage Seeds of Hope’s social media accounts (LinkedIn and Facebook)Write, edit, and publish compelling content, including blog posts, stories, and updates that reflect our mission and progressDevelop a simple content calendar and schedule regular postsCollaborate with our team to highlight events, milestones, volunteer opportunities, and donor recognitionEngage with followers and respond to messages or comments in a warm, professional toneTrack engagement metrics and suggest strategies to improve reach and impact over timeSkillsPassion for social justice, homelessness advocacy, or community buildingStrong writing and communication skills, especially for social mediaFamiliarity with Facebook and LinkedIn content management and engagementSelf-starter with good time management and organizational skillsBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or current student pursuing one is also welcome)Relevant experience can be substituted for formal educationPrior experience in social media management, content creation, or nonprofit communicationsCompany OverviewOur mission is to build and maintain a permanent housing community that chronically homeless people can call home.
