VocoVision is excited to announce an immediate opening for a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our remote team serving students in Michigan. This position allows you to deliver vital speech therapy services from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact on students' communication skills.
Job Details:
Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Location: Fully Remote
Caseload: K-12 students with diverse needs
Contract Type: 1099
Pay Rate: $47-50 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs.
Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to facilitate effective communication.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure therapy goals align with students educational plans.
Monitor student progress regularly and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
Attend IEP meetings to provide insights on students' communication goals and progress.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Active SLP license in Michigan.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
Minimum of two years of experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
