[Remote] Skilled Care Regional Business Office Manager

The Regional Business Office Manager is responsible for supporting facility revenue operations and ensuring effective communication and training related to revenue processes.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Provide direct support to Business Office Managers, ensuring adherence to revenue cycle policies and best practices
ā¢ Conduct accounts receivable (AR) reviews and assist in developing action plans for revenue improvement
ā¢ Ensure timely and accurate financial close revenue for assigned facilities
ā¢ Train and educate facility staff on revenue-related processes, including admissions, private pay collections, and financial counseling
ā¢ Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to implement policies and strategies that enhance revenue cycle performance
ā¢ Act as a liaison between facility operations and corporate revenue cycle leadership
ā¢ Monitor revenue trends and identify opportunities for process improvements
ā¢ Assist in resolving revenue cycle issues, including claim denials, outstanding balances, and payer disputes
ā¢ Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and company policies related to billing, collections, and resident trust accounts
ā¢ Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with business office standards and best practices
ā¢ Provide Interim coverage and leadership at the facility level when BOM positions are vacant
ā¢ Ensure proper financial verification and pre-admission screening procedures are followed
ā¢ Provide ongoing education related to changes in reimbursement systems, payer requirements, or internal policies
Skills
ā¢ Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management or financial operations within healthcare
ā¢ Strong understanding of skilled nursing facility billing and reimbursement processes
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
ā¢ Ability to travel periodically to multiple facility locations
ā¢ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
