[Remote] Shopify UI/UX Designer

They are seeking a UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on e-commerce who will work closely with senior designers, strategists, and engineers to deliver high-quality, conversion-focused storefronts and product experiences.ResponsibilitiesDesign wireframes, visual layouts, prototypes, and final polished screens for e-commerce storefrontsExecute high-quality UI and digital design work under the direction of senior designers, delivering fast, accurate, and detail-oriented outputs in FigmaCollaborate with engineering and development teams for smooth design hand-offParticipate in internal reviews and assist in preparing for client presentationsEnsure usability, accessibility, and performance are integrated across all designsSupport launch-side projects, especially routine or lower-complexity ones, under supervisionIncorporate feedback quickly and iterate design assets with quality and speedUphold and contribute to our design systemSkills3–5 years of experience in digital design, with a proven e-commerce focus (Shopify agency experience highly preferred)Strong portfolio demonstrating storefront design, product page layouts, UX flows, and brand systemsProficient in Figma, prototyping, and modern design toolsSolid understanding of UX for conversion optimization (e.g., product discovery, checkout best practices, navigation clarity)Ability to balance creativity with performance → making beautiful designs that also sellStrong communicator, comfortable working in a fast-paced agency settingCollaborative mindset, open to direction and feedbackEager to grow into a more senior role with client-facing and strategic responsibilitiesShopify agency experience highly preferredBenefitsUp to 10 business days of PTO in any 60-day period; anything more requires executive approval.Minimum two weeks notice for planned time off.We currently follow public holidays based on your location.One months notice required (ideally eight weeks).Competitive compensation packagesRemote-first cultureCompany OverviewPlatter offers a toolkit to increase profitability for Shopify stores with customizable themes and app pairings.
