[Remote] Service Sales Specialist

As a Service Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by establishing customer relationships, assisting sales personnel, and supporting closing orders while achieving sales targets.ResponsibilitiesExhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers and partners, being sensitive to their needs. Establish and maintain customer relationships, learning and evaluating customer operations to identify objectives, requirements, and preferencesAssist outside sales personnel with quotations, order processing/management, customer interactions, and internal communication with ABB factories and Aftermarket teams. Work with Commercial Proposal Managers, Application Engineers, and Customers as requiredSource new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emailsField website-generated service requests. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales managers for further development and closureCollaborate with Sales Directors to strengthen relationships with ABB partner organizations (IBC, Critical Power, Utility, etc.). Coordinate with Aftermarket Parts Channel Managers and Sales as requiredSupport closing orders and achieving quarterly and yearly sales targetsGenerate Standard and Configured to Order proposals. Assist the front-end sales team in new customer setup and existing customer account changesWork with factory teams to secure material pricing as necessary. Process product & service quotations and drive continuous follow-up throughout the customer's purchasing cycle. Process orders once received and ensure proper handoff to operationsGather and report information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products, and market trends to management, assisting in planning, tracking, and implementing sales strategies and developing new marketsMaintain attention to detail and quality to meet deadlines consistentlySkillsBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college with 2 years of sales or marketing experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of sales or marketing experienceCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USExperience in proposal or quote development, sales support, or order administration is strongly preferredGeneral knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems is preferredPrevious experience with business-to-business customer support is preferredA Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or another technical discipline is preferredSalesforce experience preferredExperience with Empower and SAP tools are preferredBenefitsChoice between two medical plan options: A PPO plan called the Copay Plan OR a High Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account) called the High Deductible Plan.Choice between two dental plan options: Core and Core PlusVision benefitCompany paid life insurance (2X base pay)Company paid AD&D (1X base pay)Voluntary life and AD&D – 100% employee paid up to maximumsShort Term Disability – up to 26 weeks – Company paidLong Term Disability – 60% of pay – Company paid.
