The role involves monitoring service levels, resolving escalated issues, and providing training to ensure operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesSupporting: Customer’s NOC Operations and Maintenance Engineering Staff Network to develop Operations ReadinessEstablish documented processes and procedures to improve NOC visibility to the EMS’s and associated Network ElementsEnhance the Client Outage Management and Notification processesDefine IP MPLS provisioning standards and develop a consistent process guideline to further reduce fault restoration timelinesProvide continued On-The-Job (OJK) Knowledge transfer to Client NOC personnel including:Monitoring and surveillance activitiesCommand Line Interface for Nokia routers and switchesNSP EMS Familiarization o New network element configuration/Network routing setupIP Element configuration o Event detection and isolation/Fault resolutionRoutine diagnostics and corrective action managementEvaluate customer skillsets and develop training planSkillsBachelor's degreeAdvanced knowledge of IP/MPLS provisioning and fault restoration processesProficiency in Nokia routers, switches, and NSP EMSExpertise in network element configuration, routing setup, and diagnosticsAbility to analyze service incidents and correlate them with performance issuesStrong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex faultsExperience in creating documented workflows for NOC operationsSkill in enhancing outage management and notification processesAbility to deliver effective training and knowledge transfer to NOC personnelExperience in evaluating skillsets and developing tailored training plansAchieved advanced skills and knowledge in integrating theory with organizational practicesTypically requires 4–6 years of relevant experience and/or a graduate degree (or higher)Strong interpersonal skills for customer collaboration and onsite supportAbility to work effectively in dynamic operational environmentsCompany OverviewNokia manufactures mobile devices, network infrastructure, and location-based technology for businesses.
