[Remote] Service Delivery and Premium Support Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NETGEAR is seeking a highly skilled Professional Services & Premium Support Engineer to support our growing ProAV business in the US. This role involves extensive travel to customer sites, delivering Professional Services and supporting critical AV over IP environments, combining hands-on deployment and real-time troubleshooting.ResponsibilitiesDeliver Professional Services engagements for AV over IP deployments, including design validation, configuration, commissioning, optimization, and health checksTravel extensively across the US to customer sites, including multi-day on-site engagements and flexibility to support urgent situationsAct as the L3 escalation point for Premium Support customersWork on-site during installations, go-lives, and live or near-live eventsDesign and troubleshoot AV networks supporting Dante, AES67, NDI, and ST2110/IPMXManage multicast environments, ensuring proper IGMP behavior, QoS, VLAN segmentation, and bandwidth controlSupport and troubleshoot PTP timing environmentsHandle multi-vendor interoperability challengesPerform deep technical analysis using packet captures and diagnostic toolsAct as a trusted technical advisor on-site with customers and partnersCollaborate with Systems Engineers and Sales teams for pre-sales supportDocument findings, solutions, and best practicesProvide feedback to Product and Engineering on field observations and customer needsSkills5–10+ years of experience in network engineering, AV integration, or Professional ServicesStrong expertise in IP networking including multicast, VLANs, QoS, and switchingHands-on experience with AV over IP technologies: Dante, AES67, NDIExposure to ST2110, IPMX, and PTP timing environments preferredExperience in AV environments such as corporate AV, live production, or broadcastStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in complex, live environmentsProven experience working on-site with enterprise customers and system integratorsWillingness and ability to travel extensively across the USStrong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiencesRelevant certifications: Dante Level 2+, AVIXA CTS, CCNP, or equivalentComfortable in a field-based, travel-heavy role and thrives in dynamic environmentsCalm under pressure in critical, time-sensitive situationsHighly independent and decisive with strong judgment in the fieldCustomer-first mindset with a focus on outcomes and satisfactionExecution-focused with strong organizational and follow-through habitsStrong interpersonal skills and collaborative across internal teamsBenefitsOffers EquityOffers CommissionRemoteExtensive travel across the US requiredOpportunities for GrowthContribute to the development of service offerings and delivery methodologiesParticipate in lab environments and reference design developmentPlay a role in shaping the evolution of NETGEAR’s Premium Support programCompany OverviewWe turn ideas into innovative networking products that connect people, power businesses, and advance the way we live.
