They are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to develop and execute SEO strategies that drive traffic, leads, and revenue for their clients while collaborating with various teams to ensure exceptional organic search performance.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute SEO strategies for multiple law firm clientsConduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and comprehensive SEO auditsCreate and manage SEO roadmaps and implementation prioritiesMonitor rankings, traffic, leads, conversions, and other key SEO performance metricsIdentify opportunities to increase organic visibility and lead generationUtilize tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager to uncover opportunities and measure successConduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, and other technical issuesCollaborate with content writers to develop content strategies that drive rankings and trafficOptimize on-page SEO elements including metadata, internal linking, site architecture, and contentMonitor backlink profiles and identify opportunities to strengthen domain authority and organic visibilityTrack and report on SEO KPIs and provide actionable recommendations based on performance dataStay current with search engine algorithm updates, AI search developments, industry trends, and emerging SEO technologiesCommunicate strategy, progress, and results clearly to internal teams and stakeholdersAssist with agency initiatives and cross-functional marketing projects as neededSkills3+ years of SEO experience with demonstrated resultsStrong understanding of on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEOExperience conducting keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO auditsProficiency with industry-leading SEO tools including SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Google Business ProfileExperience using SEO software to identify technical issues, content opportunities, backlink gaps, and growth opportunitiesStrong understanding of search engine ranking factors and SEO best practicesAbility to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendationsExperience with WordPress websites and common SEO pluginsFamiliarity with HTML, CSS, schema markup, and technical website conceptsExcellent communication and project management skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesSelf-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environmentMust reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.SExperience working with law firms or in legal SEO is a major plusBenefits401(k) with company contributions (after 1 year)Health insurance (company pays 50%)Dental & vision insurance options9 paid holidays10 days of Paid Time Off (PTO)Sick time (separate from PTO)Company OverviewGAVL offers marketing services for the legal industry, including video production and digital strategies.
