The SEO Manager will provide strategic leadership and execution support for organic and AI search client accounts, leading a team of SEO Analysts and Specialists to develop impactful SEO campaigns.ResponsibilitiesTranslating client objectives into effective organic and AI search marketing strategiesConducting comprehensive, prioritized site audits and proactively identifying content and technical SEO opportunities that drive relevant organic visibility and traffic at scaleDocumenting recommended solutions in a concise and compelling manner, working with development teams to advise on implementationDeveloping realistic business cases to convince clients to prioritize and implement SEO initiativesDeriving strategic search query and prompt evaluations to drive successful initiatives based on attainable organic and AI search opportunitiesMonitoring and analyzing site performance using a range of SEO, AI, and site analytics toolsInterpreting and explaining data discoveries as they relate to organic and AI search, specific initiatives, and client KPIsDeveloping and effectively communicating SEO and AI search strategies, deliverables, and resultsPerforming competitive analyses to identify organic search opportunitiesIdentifying opportunities to improve organic conversion ratesSupervising QA of SEO implementationsActing as primary client contact, providing education for clients around organic search strategies, tactics, deliverables, and performanceLeading (and inspiring) a team of 1-3 members in the execution of client SEO and AI search programsStaying up to date on current search industry trends and technologies, and proactively communicating these trends to clients and the broader Amsive teamSkills6+ years or more of experience contributing to or managing SEO programs, preferably in an agency settingEvidence of success with previous SEO campaigns for medium to large brandsStrong understanding of current SEO and AI search best practices, search engine ranking factors, cross-channel marketing principles, and a strong grasp on how to help clients meet business goals as realistically as possible, setting the right expectationsStrong understanding of concepts such as URL discovery, crawling, rendering, indexing, and ‘crawl budget'Understanding of web performance and page speed optimizationsInside-out knowledge of Screaming Frog and Google Search ConsoleExperience using other enterprise SEO tools such as Botify, Lumar, OnCrawl, Ryte, BrightEdge, STAT, SEMrush, ahrefs, etcStrong written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environmentStrong project management and organization skills, ability to be flexible and adaptable and prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projectsExperience with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and connected APIs for data analysis and reportingFamiliarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (as it relates to SEO)BenefitsPaid time off that includes Unlimited Vacation Time, Annual Sick Days, Mental Health Days, and HolidaysDental, Vision, and Health Insurance401(k) with a company match programPaid Parental LeaveCompany OverviewFull-Service Performance Marketing Agency It was founded in 2005, and is headquartered in Nyack, New York, USA, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
