[Remote] SEO Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SearchLab is a boutique agency seeking an experienced SEO Consultant who is passionate about digital marketing and client success. The role involves managing local SEO strategies for clients, optimizing website visibility, and preparing SEO analyses and reports. Responsibilities Manage and timely execute a robust local SEO strategy for a small portfolio of up to 10 clients Research, brainstorm, and publish high-quality content on our clients’ sites Optimize technical and onsite signals to maximize website visibility and increase user engagement Set up and regularly update our clients’ Google Business profiles and other online listings Build local inbound links to client websites Prepare SEO analysis and monthly reporting for clients Be responsive to client communications via email and phone calls Participate in weekly team breakouts to discuss emerging and important SEO industry trends Exhibit SearchLab’s Core Values Skills Minimum of one year of experience in SEO Firm understanding of SEO best practices Proficient in keyword research and competitive analysis Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profiles Organized workflow to handle multiple tasks concurrently within a set deadline Enjoys working as part of a team and with external clients Curious and active learner who seeks out professional development At least two years of experience in SEO Experience with task management tools, such as Monday or ClickUp Experience in link-building Strong consideration for candidates with Local SEO experience Strong consideration for candidates with 2 or more years of SEO experience Strong consideration for candidates with experience using the following tools: Ahrefs, Branch Explorer, BrightLocal, ChatGPT4, GMB CommandPad, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Jasper, Little Warden, Looker Studio, Omnibug Chrome Extension, PhotoPea/Canva, Places Scout, Pleper Chrome Extension, Schema builder (e.g. technicalseo.com), Screaming Frog, SEMRush, SEO Pro Chrome Extension, WhiteSpark Benefits Bonus opportunities Company Overview SearchLab is a digital marketing agency that offers SEO and PPC training for businesses and marketing agencies.
