They are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Workday Architect to support health system focused Workday consulting and transformation initiatives, requiring strong architecture experience and the ability to work with various stakeholders to optimize HR, finance, and operational workflows.ResponsibilitiesLead Workday solution architecture across HCM, Finance, Payroll, Procurement, Scheduling, Reporting, and Integration workstreamsDesign scalable Workday solutions for healthcare organizations, including hospitals, health systems, multi-entity groups, and clinical operations environmentsSupport Workday implementation, optimization, post-go-live support, and enhancement initiativesPartner with HR, Finance, IT, clinical operations, payroll, supply chain, and executive stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Workday solutionsDesign and oversee Workday integrations with EHRs such as Epic and Cerner, payroll systems, HR platforms, finance systems, procurement tools, and clinical applicationsSupport data migration, business process configuration, reporting, security design, testing, deployment, and change managementGuide healthcare workforce intelligence initiatives, including workforce planning, labor cost visibility, staffing analytics, operational reporting, and predictive workforce insightsProvide architectural oversight for multi-entity Workday environments, M&A consolidation, instance harmonization, and governance modelsIdentify process gaps and recommend practical improvements to increase adoption, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiencyCollaborate with offshore, nearshore, and client-side delivery teams to ensure high-quality, cost-effective executionSkills7-10 years of experience in Workday consulting, ERP transformation, enterprise applications, or HR/Finance systems architecture in the Hospitals and Health system settingStrong hands-on experience with one or more Workday modules such as Workday HCM, Financials, Payroll, Procurement, Time Tracking, Absence, Scheduling, Reporting, or IntegrationsShould have experience in working with StradaExperience designing Workday architecture for complex organizations with multiple business units, entities, locations, or operating modelsStrong understanding of Workday business processes, security, reporting, integration architecture, and data flowsExperience with Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, calculated fields, and integration securityHealthcare experience is strongly preferred, especially with hospitals, health systems, providers, payers, or healthcare services organizationsAbility to integrate Workday with systems such as Epic, Cerner, payroll platforms, finance systems, clinical systems, and third-party workforce toolsStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate with CIOs, CHROs, CFOs, ERP directors, HR leaders, finance leaders, and technical teamsAbility to work independently in a part-time capacity while maintaining ownership, urgency, and delivery qualityWorkday certification in HCM, Financials, Integrations, Reporting, Payroll, or related areasExperience with Workday healthcare workforce planning, labor analytics, scheduling, or operational reportingPrior consulting experience with healthcare clientsExperience supporting post-go-live optimization, managed services, or production supportUnderstanding of healthcare workforce challenges, staffing models, labor cost management, clinical operations, and compliance-driven environmentsExperience supporting mergers, acquisitions, multi-entity consolidation, or Workday instance harmonizationBenefitsWork remotely in a flexible leadership roleContribute to meaningful healthcare transformation initiativesWork with a healthcare-focused consulting firm supporting health systems, payers, and healthcare technology organizationsHelp clients improve workforce intelligence, finance operations, adoption, integration, and long-term Workday valueJoin a team focused on practical outcomes, cost optimization, strong delivery, and scalable healthcare technology solutionsCompany OverviewDice is a job-searching platform for technology professionals.
