The Senior Vascular Consultant serves as a strategic field leader responsible for expanding Argon’s VTE market presence across key accounts and health systems, combining clinical expertise with strategic account management to drive growth initiatives and mentor peers.ResponsibilitiesServe as the lead commercial representative for Argon’s VTE solutions in high-value health systems and IDNsPartner with executive stakeholders (Physician Leadership, Value Analysis Committees, Supply Chain) to influence formulary decisions and expand product accessAct as a clinical thought partner for physicians, facilitating advanced education, proctoring opportunities, and product evaluationsLead regional VTE training initiatives and serve as a field advisor to Sales Leadership and MarketingDrive strategic business planning for the territory, including forecasting, KOL mapping, and regional growth modelingServe as a liaison between field teams and cross-functional partners to shape new product launches and clinical messagingMentor junior Vascular Consultants and contribute to onboarding programsConsistently achieve or exceed sales quotas while maintaining high ethical and compliance standardsAdequately build procedural and clinical product knowledge to inservice or certify physicians and staff on the usage of Argon productsDevelop and implements sales strategies by determining relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company’s products to hospital personnel and physiciansObserve live procedures in the lab and operating room of accounts to gain insight into the specific preferences of each physician and staff member involved in the proceduresWork with appropriate Argon Medical Device personal to help establish pricing packages that will address each individual customer/IDN needs while satisfying company guidelines and policiesRespond in a timely fashion to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing a creative and feasible solution, including working with appropriate Argon Medical Device personal (Clinical, Marketing, Contracts) to find an optimal solution for the customerSkillsBachelor's degree required; advanced or clinical degree preferred8+ years of experience in medical device sales, with a focus on vascular or interventional proceduresEnterprise Leadership: Operates with a regional mindset; aligns local actions with enterprise prioritiesExecutive Presence: Communicates with clarity and confidence to senior-level physicians and hospital executivesStrategic Thinking: Anticipates market trends, formulates long-term plans, and leads growth initiativesKOL Development: Builds relationships with key influencers to shape clinical adoption and reputationCoaching & Talent Development: Acts as a peer leader and mentor, fostering capability across the teamChange Agility: Leads through evolving market conditions, organizational change, and competitive pressureEthical Judgment: Upholds compliance and professional standards in every interactionResults Orientation: Delivers measurable impact through data-driven decisions and disciplined executionWorking knowledge of Windows, MS Office, as well as networks and internet applicationsCompany OverviewArgon Medical is a global manufacturer of specialty medical products, headquartered in Plano, TX.
