GridX, Inc. is focused on creating clean energy technology and is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to enhance their customer delivery process. This role involves leading a team, managing project lifecycles, and ensuring successful delivery to utility customers while collaborating with various internal teams.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of up to two Technical Project Managers, providing career development coaching and hands-on project guidanceDrive internal teams to onboard customers on schedule and within scope, providing a best-in-class experienceEfficiently manage the project lifecycle through planning, requirements gathering, resourcing, configuration, risk mitigation, training, go-live, and project closureAchieve an understanding of the GridX product capabilities, and technical integration processes to guide customers throughout the delivery processManage stakeholders to ensure that all customer requirements are scoped and delivered on time and within budgetCommunicate with internal and external executives regarding project status on a weekly or ad hoc basisOwn customer communications to ensure customers’ expectations are properly set and managed according to project constraints, updates, and challengesUtilize and maintain processes, templates, and documentation for delivery standards in collaboration with customer success leadershipContribute to improvements in operational processes and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Project Management teamEvolve the project management function, including methodologies, automation techniques, and policiesEffectively communicate risks, develop mitigation strategies and strategically drive a project while maintaining good faith with a customerSkills7+ years of software product/ project/ client management experience with a track record of success delivering complex, cross-functional projects with large enterprise customersExperience working on large, complex technology integration projects requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail and planning, and multi-channel communication requirementsExperience working with utility customers and/or in the energy industryStrong project manager with experience in a fast-paced, tech environment requiring adaptability and high-quality performanceMaster of multitasking with repeatable tool sets and systemsCreative and willing to push the envelopeAbility to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectivelyImplementation of quality assurance processes to ensure consistent and high-quality customer interactionsExperienced at following and developing standard project management methodologies and best practicesAbility to work across time zones and with offshore teams in a dynamic start-up setting effective communicator and skilled facilitatorExperience in management consulting or strategic account management, preferably with a software/technology companyExperience developing or implementing technology roadmaps and portfoliosExperience with energy efficiency and program implementation is highly desiredExperience working with a start-upExperience with Jira project managementInterest in Clean Energy, Climate Change, Decarbonization, or Renewable Energy is a big plusProject Management Professional Certification (PMP)BenefitsFlexible PTOExcellent Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance401k MatchParental LeaveEquity & benefits/perksCompany OverviewGridX partners with utilities and energy suppliers to transform their businesses and accelerate the clean energy transition.
